Take a journey through the ages as you step through the hallway and out onto the courtyard then beyond. Past the Kentish barns huddled around the 'great house' along a path to the edge of the rolling grounds where you'll discover your own private hideaway. Pull back the canvas door to reveal your haven. A place to revitalize your soul and feel closer to the earth. Leave behind the cold modern world but keep hold of the things that bring you comfort, warmth and indulgence.

Tipis are decpetively spacious (18 ft diameter) have Queen-sized beds with super-cosy (14 tog) Siberian Goose Down duvets with thick denim covers, genuine Lapland Reindeer Skins for extra warmth, extra blankets and goose down pillows. For the cooler months there's even an electric heated matress. As the night draws in there's even 'new-fangled' Electric lighting and an Outdoor Fire-pit.

Tipi interiors are designed and furnished by The White Cliffs Trading Co. Jack Wills University Outfitters & Lexington Concept Stores with wooden floors made from reclaimed driftwood.

 

During your stay you'll have full use of the 4 star spa hotel facilities including complimentary breakfast in the restaurant, indoor pool, sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy spa, fitness studio, tennis courts, croquet lawn. There's also the 2 AA rosette fine dining restaurant and cosy lounge & bar in the main house with a warm atmosphere all year around.

For your convenience there is 24/7 indoor toilet and wash basin facilities a few metres away and showers in The spa from available from 6.30am until 9pm.

Children - Tipis are perfect for two people. Camp beds are however available for up to extra 2 kids in each tipi at £20 per extra sleeper.

Forager Wild & Free Food Break

Get back to nature and experience a day of guided foraging with an expert guide followed by a 3 course 'foragers' dinner and a night under canvas in one of our fabulous Tipis.

This break will involve a whole heap of fresh air and exercise in the country and on the shoreline of glorious White Cliffs Country.

We recommend the 2 night package with a stay the night before and after the day's expedition.
Day starts at 10am and concludes after dinner.

Day Only Package £85 per person
One Night Package £200 per person based on two sharing a tipi (or Classic Double Room)
Two Night Package £275 per person based on two sharing a tipi (or Classic Double Room)

This alternative break includes a morning of guided foraging, a light lunch, afternoon tea and a 3 course foragers dinner on one evening.

Forager Wild & Free Food Breaks are expertly supervised by qualified professionals working closely with local landowners and farmers. We do not use game that have been subjected to cruelty by being stocked for the sole purpose of hunting. We support careful management of the countryside. Foraging expeditions are conducted on land owned by Wallett's Court or on land on which the experts have been granted permission. The amount of plants foraged from these areas is limited and years of experience shows that leaving the greater proportion of edible plants including roots intact means a more prosperous environment for future generations. If the expedition passes through SSSIs or AONBs it does not instruct or condone the removal of plants from these areas. We advise against using wild food unless absolutely certain of its suitability for human consumption.
